October is Pastor Appreciation Month

I have gotten almost daily e-mails from several entities over the past week reminding me that October is Pastor Appreciation Month. I thought you might like to know, too. As an ordained minister, I would recommend that you show your appreciation to your pastor with a large cash gift and/or an Amazon.com gift certificate. You might also use what influence you have to move that your pastor receive a good raise for next year. If these options aren't for you, it has always seemed like a nice idea to me to have a life-sized statute erected in the sanctuary... But those are just my ideas...
