On Isaiah 26:7 --
"The way of the righteous is straight, because God smoothes it out, removing from it whatever obstacles may stand in the way of travel. Herein is taught a principle of divine providence, namely, that the way of righteous is in the hands of the Lord. Even though at times it appears that only the wicked benefit in this life and that the righteous are forsaken, nevertheless, it is God who evens out and smoothes the way the righteous must journey; He has truly removed from them obstacle that would keep them from reaching their goal." -- Edward J.
