Puritan Church Growth Study

Our proposed five-week study of Puritan Church Growth began this Tuesday at 7:30 PM.  On Sunday, the pastor talked about the necessity of the Word of God being central in our lives and worship if we are to grow as individuals and as the Church.  He gave out copies of the book, Can I Trust the Bible?, by Rev. Dr. R. C. Sproul.  On Tuesday evening, the pastor gave out copies of and we discussed the article "Puritan Meditation:  the Gateway from the Head to the Heart." http://www.banneroftruth.org/pages/articles/article_detail.php?834  We considered how to meditate as a Christian and the importance of the practice.  This Sunday, the pastor plans to preach on Evangelism and then teach on it on Tuesday.  Join us for our Tuesday evening study -- at 7:30 PM.  The print resources will be available for free while they last in Freeman Hall.  The pastor plans to give a book out for each of the five foci and additional materials as they are relevant and useful.
